Guests are encouraged to arrive early to find parking near the Alliance. Opportunities include areas near Power Park (Morris Street) and Union Mission (Leon Sullivan Way), as well as the Clay Center lot (Washington Street).

Learn the ins and outs of healthcare reform at the next SUCCESStrategies luncheon presented by the Charleston Area Alliance.

The event will focus on the Affordable Care Act and how it will affect both employees and employers. At the luncheon, a panel of local experts will discuss the new healthcare act slated to take effect in January 2014.

Sally Smith of Bowles Rice will moderate the discussion.

Panelists include:
  • Renate Pore, Director of Health Policy, West Virginians for Affordable Healthcare
  • Jeremiah Samples, Insurance Program Manager, WV Office of Insurance Commissioner
  • Matt Coleman, Founder & CEO, Office & Commercial Cleaning
  • Steve Dexter, CEO, Thomas Hospital Systems
Registration is $15 for Alliance Member Business employees, and $25 for future members.  Lunch will be provided. The panel discussion is scheduled from noon-1 p.m., followed by a 15 minute Q&A session.
