Jan 9    Issues & Eggs Legislative Breakfast 2019
Join the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce for its annual Issues & Eggs legislative breakfast Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 at the Charleston Marriott Town Center, presented with title sponsorship from West Virginia American Water. 

For more than 50 years, Issues & Eggs has served as an enriching kickoff for the legislative session and shines a spotlight on policies that promote Kanawha County business and advance economic development and growth throughout the state.

Hear directly from representatives on issues that matter to your business. More than 400 business and community leaders are expected to attend. 

With keynote remarks by West Virginia’s legislative leaders and a preview of the Chamber’s current-year legislative agenda, Issues & Eggs supports the Chamber’s efforts to champion economic prosperity and quality of life for the Kanawha Valley.

Jan 17    Business After Hours - United Way 2019

Join the Charleston Area Alliance for Business After Hours at United Way of Central West Virginia. Network with colleagues and connect with business and community leaders at this monthly Alliance event. 

United Way of Central West Virginia is a volunteer-led, volunteer-driven organization representing Boone, Clay, Logan, Kanawha and Putnam counties. From the board of directors to fundraising volunteers to others who lend a hand each year, all ensure United Way continues to make an impact on the issues that matter most. By encouraging all people in Central West Virginia to give, advocate or volunteer, United Way strives to demonstrate the power of “LIVING UNITED.”

United Way is located at One United Way Square on the corner of Court and Smith Streets; parking is free.

Registration is $15 for Alliance members and $25 for future members. Add $10 if registering fewer than 24 hours in advance. 

Invoicing is available for groups of 10 or more. No cancelation refunds within 48 hours of event.
