Mar 12    Elevations: Luncheon Featuring Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin
It was the selfless acts of public service of Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin’s grandfather, the late Dr. Albert Blatnik, and her grandmother, the late Senator Thais Blatnik, that sparked her interest in serving her fellow West Virginians. Having served as Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Commissioner of Tourism for West Virginia, Communications Director for Governor Earl Ray Tomblin and Governor Bob Wise, and chief spokesperson for a presidential candidate, a congressman and a former Charleston mayor, Goodwin’s service to the people of the Mountain State runs deep.

Join the Charleston Area Alliance’s Elevations professional women’s network for our first event of the year as Charleston’s first female mayor shares her vision for serving the people - and shaping the future - of West Virginia’s capital city.

Presented by Dow, with support from AARP West Virginia.
