Feb 14    Ribbon Cutting - Mountain Care Network Youth Drop-in Center
The MCN Teen Drop-in Center will provide intense behavioral and social services to students between the ages of 13-20 years old. Located in the heart of the West Side, the Center will be well positioned to meet the daily needs of teens by offering:

1. Self-serve laundry service
2. Hygiene products and shower access
3. Emergency clothing
4. Case management
5. Academic Liaison to assist with educational needs
6. Individual and group psychotherapy
7. Afterschool programing facilitated by Step by Step
8. Transportation services needs

As the number of unsheltered, delinquent and abused teens in Kanawha County continue to climb, we truly believe the MCN Teen Drop-in Center can be a game changer in the fight against truancy, dropout and teen child abuse.  Mountain Care Network (MCN) is a community-based Licensed Behavioral Health Center.  MCN was created to increase accessibility to mental health services and decrease the stigma associated with mental health treatment in West Virginia. We believe a healthy mind leads to a healthy life, which creates stronger families and communities. We meet you where you are.
