The City of Montgomery is located along the beautiful Kanawha River, approximately 30 miles east of Charleston and 30 miles west of the New River George Bridge. Montgomery is located in both Kanawha and Fayette Counties. It is the home of BridgeValley Community & Technical College, Mountaineer Challenge Academy South, Montgomery General Hosptial and various other businesses.
