The Mountaineer Montessori School (MMS) in Charleston, West Virginia is an independent, non-sectarian, private school nestled among the scenic mountains of the Kanawha Valley. We provide an authentic Montessori education for pre-school through elementary aged children in multi-age classes.
Established in 1976 by Mary McKown, the Mountaineer Montessori School is recognized as a leader in early childhood education and elementary education. Our curriculum is Kanawha County approved.
